Alert
The release of StudyDeposit 3.0 is now available for the 2024-25 school year! There may be a few errors and bugs present in the new version. With hundreds of notes, it’s difficult to check everything. If you find something that needs fixing, please email us at studydeposit@gmail.com!
The StudyDeposit is a growing repository of notes, graphs, and diagrams available for free for all your studying needs. This collection primarily encompasses the teachings within the Academy for Software Engineering.
Organization
The StudyDeposit is systemically organized throughout various folders. Notes are usually stored in bulk within the “Lessons” folder, in typically lengthy pages of information. These notes are the foundation for creating specific pages that explain particular topics and are stored in their respective folders to be linked together.
For example, notes about a lesson on evolution would appear within the “Lessons” folder. From those notes, pages about natural selection and species are created, linked to explain individual aspects of evolution, and stored in the “Concepts” and “Vocabulary” folders.
The following demonstrates the note life cycle.
- Notes are taken in class during a lesson into a page belonging to the “Lessons” folder.
- Individual topics are split off and placed into separate pages.
- The new pages are sorted into folders and linked to other pages.
Getting Started
There is no single way to use the StudyDeposit, but there are steps to get started if you need help.
- Navigate to the folder with the topic you’re interested in.
- Locate the lesson that may explain that topic.
- Use the links for anything you’re unfamiliar with.
Once you are familiar with the organization of the StudyDeposit, locating the information you need will come naturally.

Collaboration
The StudyDeposit is always incomplete and constantly growing. As you explore the StudyDeposit, you may find topics that need more information. The only solution is adding new notes from multiple sources, which is why the StudyDeposit encourages you to add your own notes and give feedback.
